What to consider

The clone contains the generator source. Generate your app separately with a published version; the repository's default branch is dev.
Rust, operating-system build prerequisites, permissions and signing remain necessary. The source license does not grant unrestricted rights to the Tauri logo, and plugins have their own licenses.

Start with this project

Install Rust and the target platform's Tauri prerequisites, plus the tooling for your selected frontend. Use the documented create-tauri-app command in a separate directory, review the generated permissions and dependencies, and test builds against each platform's WebView.
