Application starter
Next.js Boilerplate
Next.js application foundation with TypeScript, localization, database tooling and a broad testing setup.
Why we recommend it
This is a good fit when developer tooling and a multilingual interface matter from the first iteration. It combines application structure, Drizzle data access and test tooling so a team can concentrate on business screens while keeping a consistent development workflow.
When to choose it
- Multilingual dashboards, portals and custom web applications.
- Products where automated tests, component development and observability need an early foundation.
What to consider
- The free MIT repository is distinct from the advertised Pro and Plus products; advanced team and billing features are not automatically part of this clone.
- Authentication uses Clerk and several monitoring or protection integrations need external accounts. Decide which services to retain and review their costs and data handling.
Start with this project
The checked README requires Node.js 24 or newer and npm. Review environment settings and package scripts, then follow its local setup with PGlite; configure Clerk for authentication. For production, choose the database and external services, inspect migration behavior and run the build and tests.
