LÖVE graphics and coordinates
Keeps world positions, window pixels and offscreen rendering coordinates consistent. It also restores drawing state between layers, preventing a camera transform or shader from leaking into the interface.

Use when zoomed rendering and mouse targeting disagree.
What does it help you do?
- Defines separate coordinate spaces and inverse input transformations.
- Balances graphics state changes for canvases, shaders and colors.
- Checks resize, letterboxing and version-specific rendering conventions.
Try asking this
In our pixel-art adventure, draw the world to a low-resolution canvas and the dialogue above it. Resize into a letterboxed window and click a moving character. Selection must use the inverse world transform, while dialogue stays correctly positioned and unaffected by the world’s shader.

LÖVE — graphics coordinates
Use when implementing LÖVE cameras, Canvas rendering, shaders, scaling or high-DPI output.
Version and project gate
Inspect conf.lua and main.lua, LÖVE and Lua/LuaJIT versions, callback definitions, modules, filesystem identity, graphics/audio APIs, .love packaging and native extension dependencies. Distinguish color/API conventions across major releases. Never turn a task into an engine upgrade without the user’s intent. Read the version-matching official reference when an API decision depends on it.
Work
Define game coordinates, window coordinates and internal render resolution separately. Balance push/pop and reset canvas/shader/color/blend state at owned boundaries. Convert input through the inverse presentation transform. Match color ranges and shader language to the installed version.
Deliver
A render/coordinate contract and a scoped visual feature that preserves later drawing state. Keep the change in the existing project structure; separate actual observations from the proposed acceptance scenario below.
Failure to prevent
A scaled Canvas does not automatically scale mouse coordinates; leaked color or shader state can tint unrelated UI.
Acceptance scenario
Resize, letterbox, zoom and draw a HUD after an effect while clicking the same world target. Follow the project’s execution and verification permissions. If execution or a target device is unavailable, provide the reproduction steps and name the remaining uncertainty; do not mark it passed.
Scope and sources
This skill belongs to Lilt. Agent selection is restricted by Orqestria’s assigned-agent policy, including forced skill selection; instruction text alone is not an access control. These are original task workflows researched from official documentation, not a copied or endorsed vendor skill.
